I Melon Music Awards (MMA) del 2024 sono stati un’indimenticabile celebrazione del talento musicale, che ha riunito i migliori gruppi del K-pop per dare vita alle esibizioni più spettacolari di sempre.

Ma i ‘MMA di quest’anno sono degni di nota anche per un altro motivo: ognuno dei quattro Daesang (premi principali) è stato assegnato a gruppi composto da ragazze.

È la prima volta che ciò accade nei quasi 20 anni in cui si svolgono le MMA.

Aespa ha ricevuto 3 dei 4 Daesang, vincendo il premio Album dell’anno con “Armageddon”, Canzone dell’anno con “Supernova” e Artista dell’anno. Si sono portate a casa anche altri 3 premi ‘minori’, Best Group – Female, Best Performance e un posto nella TOP 10. Le (G)I-DLE hanno ricevuto il quarto Daesang, Disco dell’anno, però hanno ricevuto altri due premi: il Songwriter Award e un posto nella TOP 10.
